because of the large number of destitute around it, but because it is the point of intersection of the Central, or North & South rail road, of which Mr. R. H. Kelley is superintendent; and by means of that, a large number of destitute living in its vicinity and beyond its terminus, can be conveniently supplied by Mr. Kelley. In a fair distribution, [[strikethrough]] probably [[/strikethrough]] at least double the quantity, and probably more, would be due to that point: the Lime Station. The other points named, would probably be near about equal; unless it be the first named, Maplesville; where a less quantity than at the other points, would probably suffice. With 200 sacks, say 100 now, and another by and by, I can I think, supply the most pressing wants in my immediate neighborhood (Gardner's Station)
