The rebels of Northern Ala, I believe have resigned themselves sullenly to their fate in relation to "Military Bill," at least so far as not to make war upon the Government of the U.S.

They consider prudence the better part of valor, and apparently with one accord have commenced tampering with the Col'd men by coaxing, flattering, and promising, to stand by their old masters and vote for them to "save the South from utter ruin."
