Respectfully returned with the following report 
Mrs Judge appears to be a lady of the first standing & is highly respected, she is a native of Vermont, came to Green Co. of the State Ala in or about 1844 or 45 and taught school in the Eutaw Female school.

Mr Jas L. Greene her husband was a well off farmer at the time, but died at the commencement of the war and left her a widow with two children. Mrs. Judge was well off until the abolition of slavery 

The Est. say lands is worth about 12 or 15 Thousand Dollars in which she is entitled 1/3 of life
