I would respectfully request you would enquire at Head Quarters why I have not been paid for my services as Superintendent at Garland for the month of June 1866. I was arrested on the charge of purloining rations, which charge was not proved, and as I was acquitted, I feel I am entitled to my Salary which was then Eighty dollars
