Samuel N. Kiger was indicted by a grand Jury of Dallas Co, Circuit Court for stealing of Cotton, - he forfeited his bond, was captured, and is now serving out his sentence for stealing.
He cannot be a very small boy, as his Petition to the Governor for Pardon mentions his very worthy service in the army (C. S. A.)
