Yours of 28" June last was received on 29th and although not requested to do so I send you a short statement of my action in pursuance thereof.
Dr. Foster had some days before filed petitions in my office asking that the boys Abel and Alfred be apprenticed to him. I had set Monday the 8th (yesterday) to hear the same and appointed a Guardian ad litem to represent that minors.
I have the receipt of yours I directed Albert to bring Alfred before me and issued process to Dr Foster to bring Abel also on the 8th into Court. Which orders were complied with. and after hearing all the evidence offered and argument from Counsel & Guardian ad litem. I Apprenticed Abel or rather Abram they call him here to Dr. S. J Foster under the provisions of Sections 1215 & 1216 of the
