Registration is going on in this County. They get along thus far, very smoothly, most every body registers that can. People that can register seem desirous to do so, good union men in this county will vote for convention, but the Great Secesh, Democratic, Union Conservative party will. I am affraid, vote against convention, but it would do no good for them. If they do, we the union men will carry the county convention any how.
The great majority of the people of this county will go in for reconstruction despite all that can be said by the  Ultra Secesh. I hope the time is not far distant when they will be satisfyed to hold their tongs within this teeth and let people that wishes to do the best they can for the country, manage public affairs generally
