Dear Sir
I came home immediately after I saw you on the 13th in regard to my wife's son Joe  I went down to Nelson Howard & told him that you said my wife was entitled to her son & he refused to give him up  my wife & this man Nelson Howard have been separated twelve years & she raised the boy from two years old to his sixteenth year. I desire that my wife could get her son without any great trouble   now if you will be so kind as to grant me an order for the boy I think I can get him without any trouble & [[strikethrough]] just [[/strikethrough]] return the order or answer to Mr A. J. Hall
