Sub District of Greenville,
Greenville, Ala., May 31st 1867.

O.D. Kinsman, Esq.
Sub Asst Commissioner, B.R.F.& A.L.
Montgomery, Ala.
Sir,
In the absence of S.S. Gardner Sub Asst Commissioner by whom I have been authorized to open Official letters till he returns. I have the honor to state, in reply to your's of Yesterday's date, that the Vouchers of Mr E.S. King were duly received at this office, but through an oversight they remained unopened by Capt. Gardner till Yesterday. He took them with other Vouchers when leaving for Montgomery this morning, and by this time they are doubtless in your hands.

Regretting this being overlooked, I have the honor to subscribe myself.

Very Respy &c
