To the Com'ndr respectfully
We whose names are hereunto anexed respectfully submit to your consideration our real opinions as regards the present position of the apprentice children They are doing well and well cared for and think Mr Moore the more suitable one to have charge than any one else those who are contending for them are in our opinion doing it through malice entirely. Not that they appreciate their welfare in the least. These children to our knowledge, are better cared for and better instructed than any children of color in this community. They are taught at home by the family and are making rapid improvement

Very respectfully
