Dear Sir i take the opertunity to write you a few lines as i want you if you pleas to giv me infermation as I am a member at the porhouse not able to work enny i want to inform you how we are treated heare we very seldom ever get enny thing at all but meal and not a nuf of that we hav had a little meat about four times Since january last not more than 2 pound a peas for 10 days our children will beg uss and cry for bread and we hav nothing to giv them as the come through your hands you know what is the amount we should have each day and what all the articles are whether it is enny thing besides bread and a little meat please General state to me what we should have and how much if we dont get our rights please see that we do get it for we do [[strikethrough]] get [[/strikethrough]] sufer verry much he[[?]]re these are all so and can be witnesed by menny this morning we learn that we will not get enny more rashing at all
