Sir:
I have the honor to enclose you herewith, Return of rations issued to Freedmen, and Refugees, at the Hospital, Garland Ala, for the month ending 30th of June 1867.

Similar rations were sent you yesterday evening on written forms, but fearing they may not sent, I send you these on printed ones, which, arrived this morning.

Be assured that your instructions, "That these returns shall be made by the 5th of each month" will be strictly observed, in future.
