[[Stamp]] The National Archives Of The United States[[/Stamp]] Know all men by these presents that I Mary P Randles of Louisville Kentucky do by these presents emancipate and set free my negro slaves, Lucy, Flora, Harriet, John, Solomon & Jessie. the said Harriet & Jesse being children of said Flora and said John being a child of Lucy and Lucy is one hundred and two years of age [[strikethrough]] nearly [[/strikethrough]] face Black Harriet is about eighteen years of age face black, long straight hair and having had an Indian father. She shows the blood in her appearance She has two broad upper front teeth. John is thirty seven years of age face black slim & tall with high cheek bones and full eyes Solomon is a mullatto five feet ten inches and a half high thirty two years of age a double & very peculiar mark in the centre of his brest the result of a blister, Also a scar in the right knee from a cut. Jessee is seventeen years of age full black a scar from a cut on the left hand between the thumb and the wrist Said slaves are hereby fully emancipated and declared free persons from this date and I further state upon oath that I am the sole owner in fee of said slaves and that no other person or persons has any claim on them whatever either present or in reversion
