With a view of recomending him to be appointed U.S. Commissioner for Wilcox Co. Mr Pearson was during the war Captain of the 15th Mass. Batt. A Lawyer by profession, having practiced ten years, with pretentions of ability From the best information I can get I learn that he is an honorable loyal gentleman of good attainments.
