Sir,

On the reception of yours of the 23rd May I notified Mr J. J. Moore to appear at my office this day to show cause, if any he had, why the letters of app' for Jack and Jordan should not be revoked. Hank Pollard and the mother of the children were also notified to attend but failed to do so. These children have not been with their mother for several years. Their father and mother separated on account of the prostitution of the mother and her unfaithfulness as a wife. I am informed that during the war this woman and Hank Pollard cohabited together as man and wife, but on account her continued prostitution he abandoned her for a while.
