The Board proceeded to enquire into the discrepancy of-
9 - Bed sacks
2 - Hair Mattresses
5 - Drawers- pns - according to patterns
6 - Basins Tin Wash hand
5 - Bed Ticked Frames
1 - Bucket Tin -
24 - clothes pins - 
said to exist between the invoices of Hospital Stores and the amount received.-

William Gisle acting Hospital Steward being duly sworn says that he was present when the stores were turned over to Doctor Burleigh and that he carefully compared the amount received with the Invoices and found that there was a discrepancy of nine Bed sacks Two Hair Mattresses Five Drawers Six wash Basins Five Bed-Ticked Frame one Tin Bucket and Twenty-four clothes Pins. He further states that these stores were not received in good order that the packages were more or less broken - 

The Board were present when these items were received at the Hospital and from the broken condition of the packages they find it irresponsible to determine
