We the undersigned testify by the signature of our names that we have known F. Sulzner for several years to be a resident of this place & never have known him to aid or abett in the ennemy's cause, also that said F. Sulzner is the owner of a house & lot in the town of Athens Limestone County Ala; at the opening of the war rented by him to John Jackson of said town & county, as a hotel, and now used as a Commissary for Col.
