In compliance with endorsement from your office of Dec 4th on my letter of the 29th ult asking compensation for Mr. C.L. Drake who performed the duties of clerk of Demopolis during the absence of Mr. Burton (the regular clerk) as delegate to the State Convention. I have the honor to ask for revocations and appointments in the following cases, the revocations to take effect Nov 4th 1867, and the appointments Dec. 7th 1867.

S.S. Gardner Sub. Asst. Comr. $150.00/100 per month
Pierce Burton Clerk $100.00/100 per month. 
also the appointment and revocation of appointment of C.S. Drake Clerk at Demopolis at $100.00/00 per month appointment to take effect Nov 5th 1867 and revocation December 6th 1867.
