I certify that I was present upon the grounds when Cap Anderson and his squd forced their way through the outer guard of the U.L. and afterward shot another guard, and would also state, that I believe said unlawful and outrageous acts to be the out growth of an insurrectionary spirit now rife in the community where said acts were committed.
