receiving back his fair which he had deposited in the "box" for that purpose - get out of the said car and waited for the next car which the driver had referred to came along.  That when the next car came up he got into it & deposited his fair as is normal.  There were in this car one gentlemen & two ladies. That very soon after getting into this car the driver came & informed him that he could not ride in this car; that he said Thomas then said to the driver that he had been told by the driver in the car which had just passed out that he could ride in this one, & that he had deposited his fair & that he thought he had a good right to ride in the car to his destination that this driver then said he would not go any further, & stopped the car & took the horse out & hitched it at the side of the street.
