to this State from Pennsylvania as the Servant to an officer in the Freed Army, and remained after the war when the officer returned home, and he has here no relatives, friends or money.  He is unable to take care of or provide for himself.  I do not know that it is the duty of any officer of the Freedman's Bureau to look after such cases; if it is, I trust you will call his attention to this matter; have him send an abulance to the jail about 5 or 6 o'clock this evening, and have the boy taken to a place where he can be properly cared for.
