A man of whom we knew nothing & with whom we had nothing to do. We state that we are entitled to 1/4 of 37 Bales of Cotton and the seed. We state that he owes us (each working hand) ½ half pound weekly for seven months, having failed for that length of time to give us but 2 pounds
