General:
Applications having been made by Rev. C.W. Buckley, Supt. Education &c, Ala, and Rev. J. R. Shipherd, Sec'y Am. Missy. Association, for transportation of certain Teachers, from stations in Alabama, to their respective homes in the north,- the enclosed Orders, Nos. 1086 to 1103 are respectfully transmitted to the Assistant Commissioner, who will please cause the same to be issued, provided the persons therein named come within the conditions prescribed by Maj. Gen'l. O.O. Howard, Commissioner, to govern the issue of return transportation, which are as follows:-
