Mr. Harris - the Financial Inspector - informs me that the rent of this Bank building from May 1st should be paid to the owner by the Disbursing officer of the Bureau.
In order that the building may be put on the proper form, I have the honor to report that the name of the owner is Richard Lee Fearn, - that there are four rooms two on the 1st floor, and two on the 2d floor. - that one room is the Bank room - and that the other rooms are rented to the Loyal Newspaper Society until Nov. 7, 1867 at $50 per month the Society to pay us on the 7th of each month one months rent in advance. As said Society has not received payment for the Government printing they were unable to pay the rent for June.
