Dear Sir Accept of many thanks for the corn and bacon donated to this institution. It never could come in better time. The corn was not fit for bread being much eaten by bugs Consequently I had to dispose of it & buy the bread Still, the corn being good for cow feed only, If the finances of my loan would have permited I would have kept It for my [[strikethrough]] my [[/strikethrough]] two cows. I hope that cloths or goods for clothing for the poor may be sent. also coal & wood is now and will be
