EXCHANGE ACCOUNT.

Premiums on Specie and Drafts sold shall be entered on "Cash Book" and "Weekly Reports" as "Exchange received." Premiums on Specie and Drafts bought as "Exchange paid." Separate accounts of "Exchange" shall also be entered on "Monthly reports."

ADMINISTRATION.

Cashier upon receiving notice of death of a depositor, with date, time, place and name of witnesses; names, ages and residence of heirs, compares same with record of Signature Book, satisfies himself as to these facts, and then applies to proper office for letters of administration to be issued to Freedmen's Savings and Trust Company, or Cashier in his official capacity. [See paragraph 9, General Rules and Regulations.]

REPORTS.

WEEKLY, to be made every Saturday night. MONTHLY, to be for the four weeks ending with the last Saturday of each month, EXCEPT when the succeeding month commences on Friday or Saturday; THEN to be for the five weeks ending with that Saturday. For example: June 2nd is Saturday-the report for May includes that date. With each monthly report send a bill of items of expenditure for that month. In his report, Cashier will show amount received in cash and amount in transfers-same in total drafts. Total amount remitted to Principal Office will be only for current month.

LOST BOOKS.

The depositor shall advertise the loss of his book in the place where Branch in which he deposited is located, once a week for four weeks in a newspaper, or

by posting notices in eight public places. In either case notice shall be posted in the Bank. If the book is not found within three months from first advertisement, the Cashier may pay amount due if satisfied it would be safe to do so-otherwise he may require bonds to indemnify the Bank. The account may then be closed with the lost number and commenced with a new one.

CASHIERS.

The several Cashiers shall furnish each month a detailed bill of current expenses to the Actuary at the Principal Office. They shall also furnish an inventory of all real estate, goods, furniture and other property at their respective offices, as well as all information touching the business of the Branches which the said Actuary may at any time require.

INSPECTORS AND FIELD AGENTS.

Shall forward to the Actuary for his approval before payment all accounts of their salaries and other expenses, accompanied by vouchers for board, and, as far as possible, for all other expenses incurred in the discharge of their duty for the Company. 

ACTUARY.

The Actuary shall procure from the respective Cashiers a complete roll of all the Advisory Committees, and open a correspondence with the Chairman of each Committee as to the general interests of the Branch under the care of the Committee. The Actuary shall also communicate to said Committees, from time to time, all action taken by the Board of Trustees in regard to them.
