Sir:

I have the honor to state that this office has been unofficially informed that the building formerly known as the "Lawrence St. School House" is leased by the Bureau for a term of years. The building has not been used since the month of January, but if leased, and it is decided to keep it, information is desired as it can probably be put to some use.

No vouchers for the rent has been signed at this office since I have been in charge; the owner has never called, nor can one be found.
