I have this day released them from the County Jail, several persons going security for his appearance whenever required in a bond of ($1000 00/100) One Thousand Dollars, several respectfully request that he maybe tried by a Military Commissioner, as persons who commit offences same as the above are generally favored by the Civil Courts in this part of the Country - I will take no further action in the matter, until your decision is given which I hope will show that my actions in the above are approved by you.
