Charles The Defendant
Charles says I weent to Mr Jones about the midle of Feb, says Mr Jones and myself had an understanding as to the contract I was working under, says when the contract was read to me it was all right; the contract was read to me about the first of May. 
Charles also admitted his act, with Mr Jones ($64,) to be correct in every particular.

Charle's wife was very well satisfied with the place, and after she left the place she, told me she was dissatisfied with the place where she was, and wanted to go back to Mr Jones,
