0695 E. & M. 565. S of Ala Bu. 1868 STATE OF ALABAMA. BUREAU REFUGEES, FREEDMEN AND ABANDONED LANDS, Montgomery, Ala., Feby 9 1868. Respectfully returned to Leiut A.C. Taylor Sub Asst Commr who will see that Clothing & provisions are issued to the within named soldiers of 1812 until further orders. He will make inquiry and furnish the office with all information that may be necessary in securing a Pension under the Act of Congress relating thereto. By order of BV'T BRIG. GEN. J. HAYDEN, Geo Shorkley, Capt. 15th Inft., Bv't Maj. U.S.A., A.A.A.G. M 123. Sub Dist of Greenville Bureau R.F & A.L. Greenville Ala Feb. 19th 1868 Respectfully transmitted to Dr. J.W. Mooar A.A.S. for his information, and compliance with instruction from Hd. Qrs. State of Ala. A.C. Taylor 2nd Lt 15 U.S.A. Sub. Asst. Com'r. Freedmen's Hospital Garland Ala. Mch. 4th 1868 Respectfully returned to Lt. A.C. Taylor S.A. Com'r. with the following remarks: Neil S. McIntosh Enlisted and served as a Private in a Cavalry Company — Commanded by Capt Wm Gregory. He received no compensation. The Regiment was organized in Jones Co. Ga. & Commanded by Col. Wm Jones. Floyd was the Comd'g. General (So says W.T. Ball) (signed) J.W. Mooar A.A. Surg. U.S.A.
