I have the honor herewith to report that in compliance with endorsement from your office dated 30th ultimo on communication from D H Newsom, Agent, Bureau R.F. and A.L. Green County Georgia, dated Febry 20th 1868, I have visited Gadsden Bain County for the purpose of collecting or securing an account of $198. against D.C. Moore in favor of Freedmen, for service rendered.  D.C. Moore as laboring on a plantation in Green County Georgia, in the year 1867, The only property I could find belonging to Mr. Moore was a retail confectionary grocery with an inventory from cost price, amounting to $180. Part of said goods being oranges and lemons, which would soon decay. I induced Mr. Moore to make me a good note, due in thirty days, for the full amount $198. and product
