The school at Talladega seems to be and in fact is tending toward denominationalism, under supervision of Rev H E Brown; its influence being to further the interests of the Congregationalist Church, they having organized a church in connection with the school. and this, has been done while Govt has been assisting them wholly with the idea of establishing a Normal school for the education of teachers for the Colored people of this State.
