visited Bain County, for the purpose of collecting the amount. The bondsman claimed to have been disappointed by Mr Moore, and in consequence thereof was unable to meet the full amount of their obligations, at that time, but paid to me $80- and assured me that the remainder should be delivered to me on the 10th day of June at this place. I have spared no efforts to collect the money with as little delay I feel confident that I have done what was for the very best. Mr Moore has a family to support, and is now employed as a laborer in a saw mill.
Will you please inform me, if I shall forward at once the eighty dollars in my possession, or shall I retain it, and forward the entire amount together on the 10th say of June. Trusting my actions in the matter will meet your approval.
