Dear Sir
Yours of yesterday rec'd in relative a poor black family in this region I have enquired diligentely but can hear of no such case. I deposited a Bolt of Osnaburgh with Mrs Echols who lives in the neighborhood of some poor people with a request to furnsh them with cloath Blankets &c She tells me to say she has heard of no one answering the description [[alluded?]] to I will make farther enquiries and will [[release?]] them I have still some articles on hand of which you were kind enough to send me

The Blankets & shoes are in great demand & very much needed
