Sir -
Having  received instructions from Commissary General of Subsistence to cooperate with you in the establishment of Soup Houses  in your District for the subsistence of the beneficiaries of your Bureau so far as to furnish the material for the Soups at such points  as you may designate. I have the honor to report - that I am ready to supply the following articles of:
Fresh Beef, Flour or  Bread, Desiccated Potatoes , Desiccated  mixed vegetables - Salt and Pepper, which are now on hand or will be at the following points viz. Mobile, Mount Vernon arsenal , Demopolis, Selma, Montgomery & Huntsville Alabama. The acting Commissionaires  at these places have been instructed to deliver to you or your officially designated agents.
