Dear Sir:
I am pained to write you that the government will pay no longer the salaries of teachers of colored schools. Our policy of last year has been so changed as to limit us in our future payments to rent, repairs, and construction. Past salaries will be paid at earliest possible moment. I trust you will be able to sustain yourself even though government assistance be with drawn.
