SPECIAL ORDERS,
No. 69

Bvt. Lieut. Col. Edwin Beecher Superintendent of Education Bureau R F & A L, for the State of Alabama, having made requisitions for the regulation allowance of Fuel and Forage, required for the use of the Bureau at Montgomery, Ala. during the quarter ending December 31st 1869, he will purchase in open market on the best possible terms (3) three Cords of Hard wood — 1104 pounds of oats and 1288 pounds of Hay (having the allowance for one horse) — he will take up and account for the same, and issue his certified vouchers therefor, which will be forwarded to the Chief Disbursing Officer at these Head-quarters for payment. Before delivering the vouchers so to be issued Col. Beecher will cause properly certified copies of this order to be annexed thereto
