SPECIAL ORDERS,

Bvt. Lt. Col. Edwin Beecher, Supt. of Education Bureau R F & A.L., for the State of Alabama is hereby authorized to purchase in open market for use in his office at Montgomery, during the quarter commencing January 1st and ending March 31st 1870, ninety (90) bushels of bituminous Coal,- also, for use of one (1) public horse during the same period, the regulation allowance of Forage, viz: 1080 pounds of Oats, and 1260 pounds of Hay. He will take up and account for the supplies so purchased, and issue his certified vouchers therefor, which will be forwarded to the Chief Disbursing Officer for payment. Certified Copies of this order should be annexed to said vouchers
