I am directed by Brevet Major=General O. O. Howard, U.S.A., Commissioner, &c. to enclose herewith, for delivery to him, the discharge of Washington Donaldson, late a Private Co. "I", 15th Regt. U.S.C. Infantry together with letter from the Second Auditor of the Treasury, reporting adversely on his claim for Bounty.

The last known Post=office address of the claimant is Hunstville, Ala.

Please date and sign the accompanying form of receipt for discharge certificate, &c., and return same to this Office.
