Priest to execute: on Tuesday Feby 2nd & taken before J McKay That Jack Threadgill aged 12 yrs swore that Peter shot a cow around by Wm Martin and that he cut her throat and that he & his father cut up and divided this meat and that Peter carried his part home. That Isaiah Priest searched his house & found nothing. and that he P.W. was turned loose, telling him to get securities by the 8th inst for his appearance to Court - That he Peter Watson heard I Priest & Blue threatened to kill Jack Threadgill white in the road if he did not tell who killed this cow. That they found the horns of this cow in a swamp but Jack did not tell them where to look for it. | Feby 8th wrote to John McKay for prosecution [[crossed out]] regard to this complaint. Feby 10th Jno McKay writes that the warrant was issued by Duncan McNeil, Esqr and returned before him.
