| John Garris Col vs Guilford Carpenter W |  Wadesboro Aug 19 68 States that on Friday 14" Guilford Carpenter came to his school in Ansonville & stated that he was requested by his Mother & Patience Polk to notify him to not keep his school in the Church he was then occupying after that day, and that since then he was occupying in town in the grove.  This church is used very seldom by the whites but it occupied by the blacks.  Most exclusively for meeting on Sunday & for Sabath Schools.|  |
