here. Egbert has had quite a little work of various kinds. He can do so many different things but wages are about 25 to 37½ or 40 cents an hour and the trouble now is he cannot collect. One place he worked for about two or three weeks and furnished the paint is proving a liability instead of an asset as he will have to pay the paint bill. He will go on a different basis hereafter making the one who hires him pay for the paint at the start.
