Your letter & check have just come and I'll answer it and send note right away.  I felt rather worried when it had not come thru by the 19th and was afraid it might have gone astray or something – and that I ought to let you know. - at once.  Yes we will "squeeze through" all right on the $60.  Without it, I dont know what we would have done for we had to put a new roof on the cl. plant this month and I am having to let Hickey keep the monthly rents to pay for my share of the taxes – and when ever there is a chance to "gyp" me he makes use of it. Then E had to have a new pair of shoes. I hav'nt bought one new thing for myself in the way of clothes and we never go anywhere except on business errands   We hav'nt been to a show for four years except that one Ralph took Egbert & you to. I cut down our food bill to $17.34 last month but still the money goes away from us. We are paying not too much rent I know that but we are near the
