Her little girl, (it was that little Lillian, by the way, on whose crayon painting I wrote you a letter) started in suddenly by getting them all up in the night by crying and they got up every night + twice to quiet her by one means or another but nothing had any effect till they tried letting her yell and paying absolutely [[strikethrough]]not[[/strikethrough]] no attention to it [[strikethrough]]W[[/strikethrough]] It took only two or three nights of that to put an end to that for good.  Her friend's little girl tried hysterics and frightened them nearly out of their wits night after night and they'd get a doctor who could never find anything the matter with her. Finally a child specialist told them to speak + go near her and two nights finished that, children today get so much attention all the time that they feel they cannot get along without
