I've been reading some of Arnold Bennett's books lately Was'nt much impressed till I read "Mental Efficiency" the chapter on Success in it was refreshing. Not at all the usual hooey. I was rather surprised, judging from his other books I should have expected it would be. His others seemed to me merely a clever & witty setting forth of old ideas. In this chapter he reminds me of Mark Twain. I love Mark Twain. When is Doris [[strikethrough]] book [[/strikethrough]] pamphlet coming out? She said she would send it to me. I'd like to see it. And what are you doing now, Sidney? I'm absolutely dumb when it comes to botany but still I might get a glimmer of an idea if you were to tell me. You gave me Fred Southworth street but you did'nt give the number dont you know it or what is the reason. Had a letter from Maude yesterday enclosing pictures of the boys and the new bride. Looks like a nice bright girl.
