We cut each others hair & we've found out how to do our own dry cleaning Egbert is planning on finding something to do. But I doubt if there is the ghost of a chance of finding anything. I wish there were for he is so restless & unhappy when he is'nt busy at something. He does'nt care what it is, but he wants to be doing [[strikethrough]] some th [[/strikethrough]] thing. We thank you very much indeed for the nice tie & the beautiful dresser scarf. E put on the tie right away & it looks very nice with his one good suit Some day I hope we can make it up to you. These times cannot go on for ever I suppose you do not feel it at all and are glad of the reduced cost of living. Your salaries were not reduced of course. Our business lots have a great future but I am wondering how much future we have & how long this darned depression keeps up. I must close and write to Ralph & Maude. Much love to you both & little Dot. Wish we lived where we could see you all often.

Mary.

Will you send me Fred Southworth's address. I'd like to take it to Dr Shepherd. I told you he used to know him
