1007 West Oregon Urbana, Illinois December 12, 1956 Dear folks, At last I can get down to our Christmas cards! I had my second hour exam in physics last night (got a high "B" this time)and now am trying to write 70 cards in two days, before the homework gets heavy again... so this letter may not be the most cohesive. I am also sending Dolores a nice pocket book on childbirth which she should read. I am sending along some of the pictures you took of us &c such people as Mrs. Cutting. They can be replaced later... Speaking of photography, I must soon get some film & get some good Christmas pictures taken in Chicago. I also want some shots of Penelope's kittens, who are delightful. Over the holidays, I will have to study Russian, for sure. Our teacher is now moving far too fast, at one lesson a day, 40 new words per lesson (up to 60 some days) & other words she thinks of writing on the board.
