Dear folks,
Since you ask what else we want for Christmas (I thought we had told you enough), I can add something, which the cold weather & our habit of bicycling (& driving to Jack) has made necessary: leather lined gloves. Wool gloves can't take it. You can get them at Army surplus stores, I believe - outsides & wool fillers. Jack lost one glove of such a pair. 

We have just gotten to reflexive verbs in Russian...they are pretty gruesome, do you remember?

We had a good weekend (4 days) in Chicago. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Jack's mother's, the Mrazes and Jim & Shirly & 3 Starcks attending also. Friday we went to the Adler Planetarium & [[strikethrough]] did some shopping, x-mas [[/strikethrough]]; in the evening we saw our first movie in months, a French one, "The Grand Maneuver". Sad, well done. Saturday we did some shopping, x-mas, & went out to Pete & Barbara Tappan's, where we ate dinner & left late. Pete has a new job, makes a lot of money (over $10,000) & is more independent. In another couple of years his wife will go
