Dear folks,

I am so tired I have started writing everything in in the wrong places.

We were shocked to hear of the vandalism, especially of the bird eggs.  What a nasty thing to do!!  We hope the coins help trap the youths.  Do they have any idea where the gang comes from?  Did Weirs get car back?

The little car has been behaving itself fine.  I had my first driving lesson, for over an hour, on Sunday & seemed to remember dimly some past experience, for it came more easily than I had expected.  If we do this every week I should pick it up.  It isn't fearful to drive at all, you are not always wondering where it's going to go or what it will hit.  Nevertheless, learning to drive is a pretty nerve-wracking experience at first for most people, I guess.

The Leondises had dinner with us Sunday, bringing little Mary & Patty, who had a great time running around & screaming.  Penelope got so nervous she threw up her dinner.  Later, however, [[strikethrough]] we [[/strikethrough]] Paul
