I guess you would like to hear about the results of Jack's trip to New York. they were inconclusive. First, two engineers (heads) want him; second, the released time for school would not be enough [[strikethrough]] t [[/strikethrough]] to take more than two courses at a time, and that would be rough; few finish their degrees that way; third, we would have to live in New York. At the present we do not want to stop full or at least half-time schooling, and to do that at night seems hard. Living in New York, while it might shift to N.J., would not be ideal, but we may decide to do so later. The work he would be doing, especially in one of the jobs, was very appealing to him.

We left Chicago Monday night on the train.

I'd better go back to work.

Love,
Doris
